After about a week without any rain, we able to sneak back out there for a few hours of the day (mosquito naptime?) and enjoy our hangout spot. My parents came to visit and offer up some of their fresh Oregon coast blood as a sacrifice for a little porch and garden time. Rowan made the most of it by showing off his digs to Gramma and Grampa.
We did manage to pry ourselves away from the front yard several times for some park and lake time. There is a little park near our house that we call the Dump Truck Park. It seems to be a toy graveyard and is filled with every vehicle a 2-year old could ever imagine in his wildest dreams and mostly ones that would never fit in our house. And as a bonus, when we show up with all 3 dogs, we find we get the whole park to ourselves.
Grampa duty
Pinckney
Grandma dunking
And stairs...pretty much the highlight to any trip
Well, that's all the excitement here folks! My parents should be back in Oregon about now and we have no more visitors coming for a long, long time. And we, are sadly back at work. Bummer to all of the above.
Sandy bum! I like the look on Rowan's face in that one of him and Brian and also in the one of him driving the car with Grandpa : )
ReplyDeleteP.S. We have been kept from our deck too. Stupid mosquitoes.
Aww, love the great pictures! :) And big boy underwear too -- that's pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteYeah, undies! They're my new favorite thing.
